The business of security has now evolved to encompass not just the device, but also data and online interactions. Organisations today also need to manage the security threat posed by their employees who are accessing the corporate network through a variety of devices. Therefore, businesses today need to integrate security from the beginning and have to develop an end to end security approach.
According to Abdulla Hashim,VP Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Etisalat, "The growing complexity and extended nature of today's enterprise can make organizations vulnerable to multiple security threats. Organizations need to focus on having more mature security processes and manage their process of IT security implementation in a more efficient and effective manner.
Etisalat's strong focus on the latest technologies and understanding of market needs is a huge asset for enterprises looking for a comprehensive local IT security provider to meet their end to end IT security needs."
In his address to attendees, Rashed Al Abbar highlighted the versatile nature of Managed Security Services .whereby customers can reduce capital equipment investments, in-house security staff, and better budget and account for the cost of security by paying a fixed monthly tab thereby transferring information security risks to a MSS provider.
Tariq Habib, Director, ICT Solutions, Etisalat will be a featured speaker on the second day of the conference. In his presentation, he will address the topic of information security management. With economies increasingly going digital, it is becoming vitally important that the digital assets of organizations are properly protected and secured. This new digital paradigm also requires availability of suitable means so as to mimic the trust, non-repudiation and signatures in an electronic way. Tariq's presentation will attempt to identify the problems and requirements in this regard and what is possible using PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
Etisalat's portfolio of eSecurity services include PKI & Identity Management, Vulnerability Assessment, eSecurity Consulting, and Managed Security Services. The offerings combine the flexibility of customized security implementation with the strength of totally outsourced security management.
