Middlesex University Dubai Campus hosts second graduation ceremony

Middlesex University Dubai, the leading provider of British higher education in the Gulf region and the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London, celebrated its second graduation ceremony.

The event was held on the 27th of October 2007.

Forty eight students from different schools (Business school, School of Computing Science and School of Health and Social Sciences), along with their families will attend a grand ceremony at the Knowledge Village Conference Center in Dubai.

Hosting the ceremony was the Middlesex University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Driscoll who together with Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Director of Middlesex University International, Dr. Terry Butland, has flown over from London especially for the occasion.

Also in attendance will be Dubai campus director Dr. Barbara Hayward and the other members of faculty who have taught and supported the graduating students over the last year. Invited guests include local government officials and senior executives from the top multi-national companies, who the graduates will be keen to impress as they are now in the process of seeking employment.

Middlesex University Dubai now boasts hundreds of students, despite having opened a short while ago, in January 2005.
