Le Méridien Amman shines at the 7th International Hospitality Forum

Le Méridien Amman was the focus of the Culinary Art show, one of the main highlights of the 7th International Hospitality Forum, winning 9 out of 11 awards.
As part of the Culinary Art Show, 100 chefs from Jordan competed in 15 categories over the three-day event including live cooking, mezza, pastries, deserts, cake decoration, canapés, sandwiches, tapas, Mansaf, fruit and vegetable carving and much more. World class chefs from France, Switzerland, Dubai, Lebanon and Jordan judged the competitions according to the highest international standards. Le Méridien's Executive Assistant Manager, Gilles Tissier was a member of jury for the bartenders' competition.
Le Méridien Amman's team was headed by Executive Chef Mohsen Jaber and Sous Chef Mohammad Nassar Al Shalaldeh; Chef Nael Al Jubag won the gold medal for the chocolate competition and Walid Theyab won the silver medal for the three-course set menu competition.
Seven bronze medals were given to Ahmad Mansour for the canapés competition, Ahmad Mesleh for the cold platter competition, Ahmad Al Shebr for the tapas menu, Mohamad Atharbeh for the Mansaf presentation and Samer Afghani and AbdulAziz Musallem for the Black Box competition.
Mr. Gerhard Mansbart, General Manager of Le Méridien Amman said "I am incredibly proud of the hard work our chefs put into this prestigious competition, and I am very happy that Le Méridien received the credit it deserves with regards to quality of food and service-- This is an achievement we will cherish for life. The medals were a wonderful honor, but the competition also proves that Le Méridien will only provide its customers with the best of class service."
