The dual SIM card slider has a stylish look featuring a shining front surface and measures at 18.9mm thick. The compact slide up design is easy to carry and use, while the sleek and sophisticated surface adds professional polish to the user's style.
Steve Han, general manager of the hand-held phones division at Samsung Gulf Electronics commented: "Samsung D880 automatically switches between SIM cards according to the consumer's needs and network access. The phone enables the user to use two active lines separately which eliminates the need to carry one phone per active SIM card. With the new D880, the user can enjoy a hassle free mobile experience along with the functionality of two mobiles in one sleek unit."
The mobile phone applies GPRS/EDGE connectivity to provide the user with strong multimedia capabilities. The Samsung D880 has a dedicated music interface that supports multi format music files to make listening easier. Moreover, 2.3" large LCD screen offers convenient multimedia mobile experiences including MP3 player and a 3 mega pixel primary camera. The device also provides access to e-dictionary, easy phonebook search and multi tasking features as well as USB v2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 for full speed connectivity.
Another intrinsic feature about the D880 is the large battery which uses 1200mA that is significantly more than other batteries. The user will be able to access dual roaming feature of the phones, which requires more battery power for the constantly searching signals, without depleting the battery life.
Samsung D880 is available in all major electronic stores across the Middle East.
