Sabre recognizes that MENA airlines are taking an increasing share of global aviation routes and bookings. Such growth therefore requires a robust global distribution system, to manage reservations and ensure maximum operational efficiency and customer service. This is the first time a conference of its kind has been established in the Middle East and it will attract top airlines, including Gulf Air, Oman Air and Etihad.

Daniel Naoumovitch, Sabre Travel Network Middle East's Chief Executive Officer, said,

"The strong attendance at the conference signals the strength and diversity of Sabre's reach across the regional travel industry and highlights the confidence that airlines place in our user friendly systems and unbeatable technical support."

Giuseppe Caputo, Sabre's Airline Account Director MENA, said: "This conference is a great opportunity for airlines to get a better understanding of Sabre's latest developments and enhancements, driven by cutting-edge travel technology, in order to maximize their distribution opportunities. Airlines can expect to hear commentary and debate from Sabre executives, representatives from Asia-based global distribution system provider Abacus and industry distribution experts from Oman Air, Gulf Air and Qatar Airways."
