The contract enables Maximus Air Cargo to take advantage of one of the world's largest pools for aircraft components. More than 500 different part numbers of LRUs (Line Replaceable Unit) have been pre-selected by the all-cargo airline operator.

Furthermore, the agreement also covers engine and APU related components. With component pooling the customer benefits from large economies of scale as Lufthansa Technik has more than 1.100 aircraft under TCS contracts.

"To meet our high quality we need reliable and strong partners. With Lufthansa Technik, the leading provider for maintenance, repair and overhaul of airplanes, components and engines, we have found the perfect partner,"

said Fathi Hilal Buhazza, Maximus President and CEO during a signing ceremony at the Dubai Airshow 2007. "We are convinced that with the TCS agreement we get the best support available."

"Middle East and the Gulf region are very important markets for us. Therefore we are very pleased to have gained another new customer from the Gulf region. Once more we will show our ability to serve our customers in the best way possible," said August W. Henningsen, Chairman of Lufthansa Technik.
