JorAMCo wins 'The MRO Company of the Year'

This award was in recognition of JorAMCo's diligence and hard work done during the last couple of years which witnessed growth and development in many arenas within the company as JorAMCo pursued an aggressive growth plan, enforced its position in the market, doubled the size of its facilities, incorporated state-of-the-art integrated ERP solution, increased its workforce by more than 50% and established a dedicated training academy.

Bashir Abdel Hadi the JorAMCo CEO was present at the ceremony to receive the award, and he in turn thanked the organizers and the judges for selecting JorAMCo for this coveted and great award.

JorAMCo started operations as Royal Jordanian's maintenance and engineering department in 1963, was separated from the airline in October 2000 and was registered as independent MRO offering a wide range of services for Airbus, Boeing and Lockheed aircraft. 80% of the company shares were acquired by Abraaj Capital, the Dubai-based private equity company in 2005.
