Dubai Festival City hosts ESPN X Games Dubai 2007

Festival Centre, the world-class waterfront retail resort and the heart of Dubai Festival City, will be hosting ESPN X Games Dubai to be held from 6-8 December, 2007.

This marks the third consecutive year this exciting sports event will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

Featuring many of the world's top action sports athletes such as BMX stars Simon Tabron (GBR) Van Homan (USA); X Games Skateboard medalist Mathias Ringstrom (SWE); X Games Moto X gold medalist Chuck Carothers (USA); Alex Medvedev (GER) and Abrahim Wadhai (UAE).

This year's event will no longer just be an exhibition. For the first time in Dubai, athletes will compete for medals and prize money. Last year's event drew more than 27,000 action sports enthusiasts and city officials and ESPN look forward to welcoming another huge crowd this year. Ticket information will be forthcoming.

Together with presenting sponsor, PepsiCo's Mountain Dew brand, the event will also be supported by official car partner Dodge and Playstation.
