Masafi water grows at 27% with tissues registering 43%

Masafi, one of the leading FMCG brands in the Gulf and Middle East, has recorded impressive growth in the sales of its products in the UAE. Thanks to the unprecedented sales, the company has registered revenues of Dhs230m YTD, September 30, 2007.

Masafi has informed that sales of its flagship natural mineral water grew by 27 per cent compared to the last year while the sales of Masafi tissues registered a rise of 43 per cent.

Announcing the results, Mr Ashraf Abushady, Chief Executive Officer of Masafi, said: "Masafi has consistently maintained its lead in highly competitive market through a process of continuous reinvestment and innovative manufacturing and distribution strategies. The impressive growth also reflects the trust that consumers have in the Masafi brand. Masafi is one of the leading brands in the region and we intend to further enhance the value of our brand."

Masafi, has successfully retained its market leadership in the UAE natural mineral water segment, whilst entering new segments via its successful flavored water product line, and recently launching its 4x Gallon Bulk Water "One-Way" Package designed for convenient Home and Office Delivery.

Masafi tissues are manufactured from the 100 per cent virgin pulp which helps in achieving a very low grammage, which makes them extremely soft-yet-strong and wet resistant, with high absorbent properties
