Dow ends lower; FTSE up

U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday following the previous session's huge rally. The Dow Jones dropped 76.08 points, or 0.57%, to end on 13,231. Meanwhile, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose 69.70 points, or 1.10%, to end on 6,432.
