Heckert Orthopaedic Appliances sets up a world class facility to cater to the region

This new facility has on floor workshop equipped with the most advanced state-of-the-art technology and will set the reputation to offer the best for the physically disabled and amputees in the region.

Heckert Orthopaedic Appliances produces arm and leg Prostheses and Orthoses, Silicon Prostheses, Corsets, Foot support and Therapeutic Elastic Stockings in its own specialised workshop in the centre. Each requirement is personally consulted and made by Sander & Lenette themselves.

Heckert is experienced in using silicons, preprac and carbon, to name a few. Using special vacuum technique with extremely high temperatures, Heckert can create strong ultra light weight and highly functional solutions, which are very pleasant to wear and will become one with your body. The equipments were recently installed by a leading company named Jos America, based in Netherlands. Sander Heckert was personally involved in the development of new machinery and techniques.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sander Heckert, Managing Director, Heckert Orthopaedic Appliances FZ-LLC said, "During our visit to Dubai three years ago we realised that this part of the region lacks professional and specialized knowledge. It was than that Lenette and I decided to move here to create the highest level of orthopaedic healthcare appliances in the region and provide the best to patients."

"In the past quality products and services could only be obtained from western countries mainly Europe. Our Centre will prove to be a boon for those individuals who have not been able to get the right product till now due to the high cost in sourcing them or products not being available.

But now everything will be available under one roof, custom made and in wide variety of materials and budgets to choose from", said Ms. Lenette Heckert, Director, Heckert Orthopaedic Appliances Inc. She further stated that this centre will also handle and manage all follow-up maintenance and routine check up hence avoiding unnecessary traveling and will prove to be very cost effective."
