on Wednesday officially inaugurated the Emirates Motor Sports Federation's (EMSF) stand at the 9th Middle East International Motor Show in the presence of EMSF Chairman HH Sheikh Marwan BinRashid Al Mualla and other dignitataries.
EMSF Director for Planning and Business Development Ms Roshanara Sait presented the dignitaries with the November issue of the Federation's bilingual magazine, Assayara/The Motorist, and also unveiled the EMSF's edition of the 2008 calendar.
Sheikh Marwan, a car enthusiast and collector, wished EMSF staff and organizers of the show every success during the five day event being held from November 14-18.
Noting that the motor show had grown in stature and prestige over the years, Sheikh Marwan was all praise for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, for his farsightedness and visionary outlook that has been instrumental in placing Dubai on the world map.
Held once every two years and popularly known as the Dubai Motor Show, The Middle East International Motor Show is the single largest international automotive event in the Middle East.
The show has a track record of pulling in crowds of affluent visitors from all of the GCC states and neighbouring countries, and has been firmly established as the most lively and popular international automotive event in the region.
The 8th Middle East International Motor Show in 2005 had the participation of 226 exhibitors representing approximately 600 companies from 25 countries.
The 2007 Motor Show has attracted over 90 international vehicle manufacturers and customizers who have on display the latest design and technology to offer the motoring world.
