Emaar Malls Group completes phase two and three expansion of Gold & Diamond Park
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 17 - 2007 at 11:16
- PRESS RELEASE
Emaar Malls Group, the shopping malls subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, has announced the completion of the second and third phase of expansion of the Gold & Diamond Park to almost triple the number of gold and jewellery retailers, new office blocks to house 350 commercial units and a total of 118 manufacturing units.
Launched in May 2001, the Gold & Diamond Park offers several retail and commercial business opportunities. Along with the gold and jewellery trade, businesses from across all sectors have opened offices within this commercial nerve-centre located near Interchange 4, along Sheikh Zayed Road. There are several cafés and a restaurant to cater to shoppers and neighbouring businesses, meanwhile above and below-ground parking provides space for more than 750 cars.
"With the expansion, the Gold & Diamond Park is now offering 90 gold and jewellery retail outlets, a significant increase over the original 38 offered at its launch in 2001. The gold and jewellery on offer has become far more diverse, including reputable and recognised brands. The range meets all needs and requirements for Dubai's diverse residential and tourist population," added Badri. "The new expansion is poised to make the Gold & Diamond Park a hub for commercial and retail activity in the city, where commercial space is of the premium."
Ideally located between several commercial and residential developments in Dubai, the Gold & Diamond Park offers easy access to visitors. Jewellery enthusiasts have the option of commissioning their own designs and have them handcrafted usually within 24 hours at the onsite manufacturing site.
An outdoor courtyard and seating area serviced by food and beverage outlets add to the comfort and convenience of shopping at the Gold & Diamond Park.
