Despite of the large area of the World Travel Market in London, visitors could spot Abu Dhabi's brand identity all over the expo, thanks to the concerted efforts by ADTA to highlight the Emirate's participation.

HE Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority said: "ADTA and our Abu Dhabi's industry partners are delighted that the emirate is largely represented at the World Travel Market 2007 once again. This year we have a large number of top travel and tourism delegates spanning a wide range of travel and tourism products and projects including hoteliers, travel agents, tour operators, attractions, tourism development projects, and event organisers. "It is exceptionally good news that the emirate's tourism industry and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority have joined forces together to boost tourism sector following the launch of the government's new strategy plan that aims to position the emirate as leading tourist destination in the region," Sheikh Sultan added.

At the main entrance of the exhibition, was a large panel at the top of the gate with the logo of Abu Dhabi's brand identity and the word 'Abu Dhabi' written with very attractive letters. There is also a very beautiful water panel on the side wall with water coming from the top in the shape of the word in both Arabic and English, accompanied by light illumination and captivating Arab music. All these immediately prompt visitors to enquire more about Abu Dhabi and its participation in the expo.

All over the exhibition space and wherever the expo's logo was displayed, Abu Dhabi too had its logo beside. At the centre of the hall, where the rest areas and restaurants were located, a visual screen displayed the tourism projects currently underway in Abu Dhabi. These projects such as the Al Saadiyat Island, Seer Baniyas Island, Yas Island, Desert Islands and others take the concept of tourism in the region to new levels. They received the admiration of the world's tourist experts and create a new aspect of living that reflects Abu Dhabi's rich and multi-cultural identity.

With Abu Dhabi's logo featuring prominently alongside the WTM official logo by the registration counter, visitors are prompted to explore the booth of the Emirate. Indeed, ADTA has promoted the Emirate with total and clear professionalism.

On the occasion of Abu Dhabi's participation at the WTM 2007, Mr. Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, Director General of ADTA, stated: "Abu Dhabi's participation at this prestigious international event aims at positioning the emirate as a leading destination for luxury tourism and enhancing ADTA's partnership with the private sector. Taking prominence over the world tourism agenda WTM will provide us with the opportunity to promote the emirate's latest travel and tourism projects and products under the umbrella of ADTA and generate great further interest among international tourists and investors".

The unique shape, spaciousness and distinctive maroon colour were attractions of Abu Dhabi's booth, which also featured a photo exhibition by world famous American photographer William Hooper, whose photos reflect Abu Dhabi's history and culture.
