Al Dossari explained that the RTA had completed all the necessary arrangements for the reception of delegations, conferees, exhibitors and visitors coming down to Dubai from around the world to participate in this event, and coordinate for proper planning of various events and activities of the UITP such as meetings and workshops, and the effective organization of the event as well as allow a sufficient time for the UITP and organizing company to lay down the financial estimates for the costs of hosting and organizing this conference.

He noted that this event would constitute a great opportunity for organizations and authorities responsible for the management and operation of the public transport in the Middle East and North Africa to learn about the latest developments and findings of technology, and take advantage of what the advanced countries have achieved in this area, in addition to consolidate the relations between decision-makers, experts, specialists, businessmen and investors in the public transport sector, which is undoubtedly considered an important indicator of progress and development in the countries of the region.

Regarding the groups targeted by the conference, Al Dossari said: "We aim by organizing this event to attract companies and international institutions working in this field, in addition to experts and decision-makers, governmental bodies and authorities responsible for the operation of this sector that includes public buses, metro, taxis and marine transport as well as investors and businessmen working in this domain to participate."
