DM employees to get tips on time management

Dubai Municipality has organized a special training for its staff this week called time and self management and controlling the work pressures.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Head of Human Resources Development Section in the Human Resources Department said the course, to be held during 18 to 20 November, will be attended by a group of administrative support staff in the municipality.
Al Zarouni said the participants would be familiarized with the reasons, forms and sources of work pressures and ways of bettering the condition. They will be briefed on the methods of time management on daily, weekly, monthly or annual bases and developing the participants' skills in innovation and novelty regarding time management. They will also be acquainted with the modern methods of controlling work pressures.
There will also be presentations on certain applications in time management, economic, organizational and behavioural impacts of time management, and some success stories in time management.
Al Zarouni said a second training course of the week called, "Ariel Photography and Remote Sensing," to be conducted during 20 to 22 November, will be attended by a group of officials who use ariel photos and remote sensing.
He said the course is aimed at introducing the participants the basics of using ariel photos and its results, in addition to familiarizing with the data obtained by the GIS and ways to benefit from them.
