Fog closes ADIA

Abu Dhabi International Airport (ADIA) was closed for nine hours yesterday, Sunday, due to heavy fog in the UAE capital, reported Gulf News. A total of 16 inbound flights had to be diverted to Al Ain, while 33 flights were delayed by the conditions. The travel chaos followed similar disruption in Dubai the day before when 98 flights had to be diverted.
