- PRESS RELEASE
Nattiq Technologies announced its new Arabic Hal Screen Reader which runs straight out of a USB Flash Memory can be used without prior installation.
"A blind Hal Pen user can walk into any public library, a school or a university computer lab, a hotel business center, an internet café or any other public or private computer facility, plug his USB Hal Flash Pen into am available computer and start accessing it without installation as his Hal screen reader runs straight out of his USB flash disk," said Auda Hazeem, Nattiq's CEO.
"This is a dream coming true for blind users whose computer access was limited to PCs running accessible software," he added.
The opportunities are limitless to blind users with Hal Pen. Employers will be more encouraged to hire talented blind individuals who can access any computer any time in their work place.
Blind students may browse around different computer labs in their schools and universities and access any computer in their schools immediately. With Hal Pen, blind professionals will be able to travel without a lap top and will enjoy the same benefits of accessing any computer they may encounter while on the road.
Nattiq will be demonstrating Hal Pen at its headquarters in Sharjah for interested media professionals as well as all other customers and technology enthusiasts.
