Al Diar Siji Hotel goes hi-tech with interactive TV

"This month of December, we will welcome our guests and clients with the latest technology in hotel interactive television system. The Multi Media Channel (MMC) Interactive system is an interactive television and media solution, and it will be installed in all the spacious rooms of Al Diar Siji Hotel, Fujairah," announced Fouad Melhem, General Manager of the hotel.

This state-of-the-art interactive TV is powered by the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) System which encompasses excellent integration of audiovisual & multimedia technologies, delivers on-demand entertainment, offers an exciting and comprehensive range of interactive services. These include Movies and Music on Demand, Web Radio, High Speed Internet Access, Video Games, Info Centre, Hotel Guide, Wake-up Service, Message Service, Bill Information and Express Check Out.

Just with a push on the remote control button, guests will have access not only to television, but to on-demand entertainment. The Pay TV Digital Server with Integrated Satellite Card has 12 movies in catalogue and features Parental Lock Controls. For On Demand Video System, guests can choose from the 18 blockbuster films in various languages. These features give guests access to private viewing at any time of the day or night.

A laptop computer will accompany these features and will be provided in every room as well.

Hotel information and services can also be accessed through this interactive TV system. Guests can view all the Hotel services, place room service orders, check their bills and even check out without going to the reception's desk
