Dubai to define new global destination for pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals

The global pharmaceutical market has demonstrated consistent strong growth patterns in the past five years generating total revenue of $643bn in 2006. The world market for biotechnological drugs is thriving, with its current global market value stands at $460bn and is growing at a rate of 18% per year. It is estimated that by 2009, the industry will surge to $625bn.
