Tariq bin Faisal Al Qassimi: Relationships denote art of investment banking

With the lightning-fast expansion of economic activity in the UAE and the GCC region and the cutthroat competitiveness brought on by globalisation, investment banking has become the fastest-growing component of the financial sector.

Soaring levels of IPO and M&A activity, debt syndication, creation of new financial markets, public and private equity, and debt issuance combined with fewer barriers to entry has brought on a flux of competition.
