3 Egyptian ministers to hold talks in Paris soon

In presence of three important delegations led by Mr Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Tarek Kamel, Minister of Information and Communication Technology, and Mr Mohamed Mansour, Minister of Transportation.

Hassan Behnam, Director of UBIFRANCE regional press office and Media Advisor to the Presidential Council, announced that the Ministers will hold talks with their French counterparts, senior members of the French Enterprises Association (MEDEF) as well as the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), to promote the Egyptian economy, boost bilateral commercial relations and increase the volume of trade and investments.

The three Ministers will deal with various aspects of the Egyptian economy such as the reforms undertaken in several domains, the attractivity of Egypt in terms of investments and the most interesting sectors for french businessmen and investors.

According to Behnam, the program of Paris talks includes three round tables headed by Ministers Rachid, Mansour and Kamel, in presence of French and Egyptian Heads of Corporations in the respective business sectors. The Minister of Transportation will deal with public-private partnership whereas the Minister of Trade and Industry will talk about retail and distribution and the Minister of Information and Communication Technology about E-health and Media conversion.

The meetings will also include other important subjects such as Reforms, Customs, Industry, Information and Communication Technology, infrastructure of roads, railways and maritime transportations and several B2B meetings between multi-sectorial French and Egyptian companies that could result in partnerships and encourage French enterprises to invest in Egypt.
