Dubai World starts preparing for participation in Careers UAE

Careers UAE is a high-calibre event that enables talented UAE nationals in all fields to meet directly with recruiters and human resources managers in major companies.

The first meeting of Dubai World and its participating business units was held today at Dubai World head offices in the Emirates Towers under the chairmanship of Mr. Farid Mohammad Ahmed, Secretary-General Dubai World.

Highlighting the importance of participating in this event under the umbrella of Dubai World, Mr. Farid Mohammad Ahmed, Secretary General said:

'Dubai World will leverage the strength of its business units like Nakheel, DP World, Limitless, Istithmar, and others to show our commitment to the emiratization drive by attracting and recruiting the best of UAE nationals for Dubai World and its various companies.'

'Dubai World has the unique advantage of gaining most from events like the career fair, where talented individuals can choose from a variety of fields ranging from shipping and maritime to real estate, and hospitality and tourism to aviation and transportation. No other single entity offers a range of career choices as diverse as Dubai World,' he added.

A number of flagship companies of Dubai World are participating in the 8th edition of Careers UAE exhibition including DP World, Nakheel, Istithmar, Limitless, Jafza, Dubai Maritime City, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Drydocks World, Dubai Security Services, among others.

The group's participation is being organized by World View Communications, the public relations arm of Dubai World.

Nakheel, which has traditionally been a star attraction in previous editions of Careers UAE will have a prominent presence in the 8th edition as well, along with its sister company DP World. Business units like Istithmar, EHS, Limitless and others will have unique booths within the Dubai World pavilion.

'In terms of size and content, the Dubai World pavilion will definitely be a major attraction of Careers UAE,' Mrs. Alia Sulaiman added.

Careers UAE was designed to expose job seekers to various training and career opportunities and provide them with a networking platform where they can learn about various companies, meet employers, and apply for job positions and internships.
