City 7 TV soaring with launch of more new shows

Building on the launch of several shows last month, the UAE's premier English language television channel, City 7 TV, ends the year on a high with the launch of a number of new shows.
The following is a list of shows that viewers can look forward to in the upcoming weeks. All the shows are locally produced with a cosmopolitan audience and content from all the Emirates.
The Spin
Dubai's music scene is taking off big time, be it a packed audience witnessing the cocky Kanye West flashing his trade mark toothy smile to Roger Waters entrancing us with his guitar solos and smooth voice. What better time for the city to introduce a show that deals completely with music.
With a weekly round up of international and local music news, our host Susie Iliyan will make sure there's something in the show for everyone - whether you're a teeny bopper into goth or a middle-aged music lover who yearns for the return of classic rock bands like the Eagles. Maybe you just like Bollywood songs or the Arabic oud, The Spin will cater to all of your music needs.
Dubai is fast becoming a stopover for top DJs who arrive at our clubs on a regular basis. And if you can't get in on the action live, trust The Spin to be there to satiate your music needs and get you closer to the turn tables. There'll also be a section where we feature upcoming shows like Desert Rhythm and Desert Rock, highlighting the bands that will perform.
Lastly, we'll feature a local talent, be it a dancer, or singeThe weekly show promises to encapsulate your weekly dosage of music in an easy to digest half-hour time slot.
Face to Face
Renowned radio talk show host, John Deykin, will host this half-hour, one-on-one interview session that will feature prominent personalities shaping the country's future.
Focusing on a single interview with local and visiting VIP's, each edition will be the result of detailed research and in-depth investigations. From businessmen to policy makers, entertainers to political leaders, Deykin promises to ask the tough questions on everyone's minds.
Deykin, a veteran broadcaster, had three talk shows on radio and has recently guest-hosted some editions of City 7's Good Morning Dubai.
Style Arabia
So you don't know your halters from your empire waist? Or maybe you've got your perfect outfit but no handbag to go with it. Style Arabia, a weekly half hour show, is here to guide youth to current fashion trends whether wide leg pants or shirtdresses. But it doesn't stop there - if you want to know which brands rule the ramp, whether it's Hugo Boss or Marc Jacobs, Style Arabia will help you decide. And we're not just talking out of our satin top hats either - because the show will be hosted by up and coming model Mahsa, and she definitely knows her stuff. Every week we'll feature a number of new accessories, clothes and even profile an up and coming model. If you want to up your style quotient, join Mahsa as she delves in to shelves of the fashion world.
Korea Sparkling
The show "Korea Sparkling" symbolises the lively energy and culture of the Korean people. In fact, focusing on tradition and modernity is the theme for Korea's new tourism campaign. City 7 TV dedicates a 30-minute programme for 13 weeks, to showcase Korea in its finest.
The host Natalie Carney, a reporter and a great travel enthusiast, will take the viewer to see and experience Korea on a first hand basis through her personal adventures in the country. Right from the busy streets of Seoul, to the picturesque island of Jeju, from tasting food to wearing the hanbok, the traditional Korean dress.
Brought to you in conjunction with the Korea National Tourism Organisation, 'Korea Sparkling' is the first of City 7 TV's Travel and Tourism Show series, with an aim to bridge the diversity of cultures and entertain viewers by showing them fascinating tourist destinations around the world.
Inside Business
Due to public demand, Inside Business is back as an integral part of City7 News.
Once again, Greg Fairlie guides the viewers on the ins and outs of the UAE economy and business. He interviews leading CEO's, entrepreneurs and financial analysts while bringing in the latest financial top stories from Dubai and markets around the region including the DFM, Abu Dhabi Securities Market and The Saudi Tadawul. Also featured are the international markets, most active stocks, major currencies, precious metals and price of oil.
