The campaign witnessed grand demand from students, staff and faculty members who rushed to take advantage from the free medical programs and checkups and to benefit from the medical advice given by specialists from The First Medical Center in Dubai.
In addition to assessing the fat content, percentage of water in the body and weight, the attendees undertook medical tests for diabetes and blood pressure.
During the campaign, doctors explained the main causes of these diseases and the ways of protection from them accompanied by distribution of special brochures on general health, nutritive educational services, cardiac diseases and blood pressure.

The Students Services Department at the University of Dubai (UD) organized on Tuesday 20th of November, 2007 a 'Health Awareness Campaign' sponsored by The First Medical Center in Dubai.
