Gerard Moutou transferred from a 5-star hotel in Dubai where he held a position of Executive chef overseeing and managing the overall kitchen operation and preparations in addition to the training of the F&B employees to ensure high standards of food and service.
Originally from France, Moutou started his culinary journey at a very young age managing the 'envergure group' the second highest hotel group in France. He then moved to Miami, USA, as an executive sous-chef for the 'celebrity cruise line' company. After one year spent in the USA he decided to discover Africa and more precisely Saly, Senegal, by working as an Executive chef for to Hotel Espadon.
His main goal as Executive at the Mövenpick Tower & Suites is to sustain and further enhance the tower good reputation in the gulf market as he brings in his extensive 17 years experience in cooking preparations and his passion for cuisine.
Gerard Moutou is married and a father of 1 child.
