Vung Tau is located in the southern part of Vietnam, 130km east of Ho Chi Minh City, and is situated at the tip of a small peninsula. Traditionally, the city has been a significant port, but today it plays a major role in the off-shore oil industry. Vung Tau has extensive beaches, some reaching 10kms in length and is a popular retreat for residents of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists alike.
Ben Barker, Development Director of Select Contracts said,
"Vietnam is certainly one of the emerging markets of the South East Asia as far as tourism development goes. Vung Tau has the platform for becoming a leading destination in itself and to be part of this growth with an opportunity to develop a significant leisure and entertainment destination within such a culturally rich environment is fantastic."
