Dubai-based turnkey solutions and consultancy firm Select Contracts have been appointed to develop a conceptual study for a 260 acre beachfront property for a large scale mixed use leisure and entertainment destination in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

The development will include a 5* hotel, a convention centre, shopping mall, marina and residential units. The conceptual design phase will incorporate a complete market study of the area as well as a conceptual master plan, building layouts, renderings and a 5 year business plan for the project. At the end of the first phase, the aim will be to identify the exact product which will best suit the location from an investment and tourism perspective. Select Contracts will then assist the developer with raising the investment required to complete the project and also introduce a 5 star hotel operator to the site.

Vung Tau is located in the southern part of Vietnam, 130km east of Ho Chi Minh City, and is situated at the tip of a small peninsula. Traditionally, the city has been a significant port, but today it plays a major role in the off-shore oil industry. Vung Tau has extensive beaches, some reaching 10kms in length and is a popular retreat for residents of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists alike.

Ben Barker, Development Director of Select Contracts said,
