On Saturday Zoomlion will break ground on a $2.72m spare parts warehouse and service centre in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone, where it established a UAE branch office in April, and expansion across the Gulf region will soon follow.
On the following day the company joins a line up of more than 200 exhibitors from around the world at the Big 5 PMV, the new construction industry event taking place at Airport Expo Dubai where it expects to lay the foundations for more business growth.
'We are planning to set up new Zoomlion offices in each of the Gulf Countries' said Chen Peiliang, General Manager of Zoomlion International Trade Co., Ltd.
'Currently Zoomlion's overseas market has exceeded more than $120m, with the Middle East contributing about 30% of that.'
'The Middle East is very important to us and we're looking forward to even more growth in this area. The Big 5 PMV is an excellent opportunity to meet potential partners throughout the region as well as reinforce relations we already have here.'
Zoomlion is among a broad range of plant, machinery, construction vehicles and equipment suppliers who will be using the event to meet face to face with key buyers from across the region and overseas.
The company, which is listed on the SZSE Component Index 100, says its new 10,000 sq metre Jebel Ali base will be fully functional by early next year. Zoomlion manufactures a wide range of construction industry machinery, including tower cranes and trailer concrete pumps which are a familiar sight on building sites in the UAE and across the Middle East.
Organised in partnership with and on behalf of dmg world media by Streamline Marketing Group and running from 25th-29th November, the Big 5 PMV is giving a new dimension to the Big 5, the region's most influential construction and contracting event.
The Big 5 PMV has the support of key international organisations including UBIFRANCE - French Foreign Trade Council, UK's Construction Products Association and AEM, Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
