Shannon Norris, Events Director, TME, said,
"The Fulla brand is truly dynamic. It is a regional concept developed for the regional markets. It is a complement indeed that NewBoy through Palm International has chosen to participate at Mother Baby & Child Show for the second successive year."
Fulla was created by Syrian-based NewBoy and is the fastest selling toy in the girls' doll category throughout the Arab world and available in over 15 countries including the Qatar, UAE, KSA, Egypt, Syria and Morocco. Fulla's success is attributed to her cultural adaptation and her embodiment of family values, reflected throughout the region.
"Each culture has a toy doll ambassador which little girls in those cultures can identify themselves with- the US features Barbie, the UK has Sindy, Tanya is symbolic of Italy's toy doll, and Jenny in Scandinavia. Each one of these dolls is the poster child for their respective markets and cultural norms, Fulla is a natural extension, fulfilling a void within the Middle East markets," commented, Manar Tarabichi, NewBoy Co. CEO
A complete collection of Fulla products will be on display at the Mother, Baby & child Show, including; T-shirts, pajamas, socks, underwear as well as the home linen range which will feature comforters, bed sheets, pillow cases and blankets.
"We'll also have our latest cosmetics range available, with Fulla shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and wet wipes, along with the recently launched Fulla Pink Perfume," said Tarabichi.
Mother Baby & Child Show has continued to grow, due to its ethos with a wholesome approach to family and childcare. Issues affecting not only children but parents and mums-to-be will be highlighted through practical free advice and tips on everything from nutrition and car safety, to breastfeeding.
"The Mother, Baby & Child show offers marketers a rare opportunity to communicate their brand values directly with their existing and potential customers," added Norris.
This year's sponsors include, Progress Gold, New Boy, Volvo, Fuji Film and Malaysia Airlines.
