GE Oil & Gas conducts 'state-of-the-art' seminars on emerging technologies

The seminars showcased the latest in oil and gas technologies and upgrades and were attended by more than 150 industry professionals.

The seminars discussed a number of key topics including: Mean-Time Between Maintenance (MBTM) extension and longer life of equipment; new solutions for sour-gas applications; heavy duty gas turbine technology for power generation; advancements in aero-derivative gas turbines and LNG supertrains; flow business (pumps and reactors); and ethylene solutions.

The seminar also featured an overview of GE's most recent acquisition, VetcoGray - a company specialized in upstream drilling and production technology for the onshore, offshore and subsea oil and gas industry, now part of GE Oil & Gas.
