Dubai Marina Yacht Club achieves award prior to opening

The Dubai Marina Yacht Club has won the 'Best Industry Initiative in the Middle East' award at the Arabian Gulf Yachting Awards 2007, even prior to the club's opening.

The award underscores Dubai Marina Yacht Club's innovation in design for its Marina Berthing. The Arabian Gulf Yachting Awards 2007 comprised 17 awards in 10 categories that recognise the leading names in the region's yachting sector.

Mr Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group, said: "The award is a motivational achievement and sets the standard for the Yacht Club's future success. Located at the heart of Dubai Marina, the upcoming Dubai Marina Yacht Club is scheduled to open April 2008.
