Genetco to participate in Food Expo 2007

The Special Projects Division of General Electric & Trading Co. LLC (Genetco) is all set to showcase its wide range of branded products at Food Expo 2007,which will be held on December 2 -4 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
"We not only supply the equipment for the commercial kitchen and laundry requirements of our clients but also offer total turnkey solutions from the design stage and installation to commissioning and maintenance," said Srinivas Gopalan, Divisional Manager of Genetco's Special Projects Division.
Established in 1970, Genetco is one of the most diversified, multi-locational and multi-divisionall marketing and engineering companies in the Sultanate of Oman. Its Special Projects Division is the distributor of a large number of reputed brands for hotels and restaurants, fish processing plants, hypermarkets and grocery stores, food manufacturing firms, and hospitals.
In addition to those mentioned earlier, other key principals of the company include Dito-Electrolux (France), Lincat (UK), Manitowoc (USA), Imesa (Italy), Lavatec (USA), Zeigra (Germany), Sanyo (Japan), KSG (Germany), and Unifrigor (Italy).
"Genetco's participation in Food Expo 2007 clearly reflects the leading role it plays in serving the requirements of the food industry in Oman," said C.J.Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading exhibition organizer in the sultanate.
Paul pointed out that many local companies have already confirmed their participation in this event, which will feature everything related to food and beverage, catering equipment, food processing technology, packaging products and agricultural supplies. He revealed that international exhibitors from many countries including Italy, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, UAE, U.K. and Germany will also be displaying their products to take advantage of exciting opportunities in the sultanate's vibrant food industry and hospitality industry.
