Sony Gulf unveils new Cyber-shot T2

This 8.1 mega-pixel Cyber-shot T2 can store more than 40,000 photos without any memory expansion and is available in five funky colours of black, blue, green, pink and white.

Bundled with the easy-to-use Sharemark software, one can easily upload photos to popular sites like Blogger and YouTube once the camera is connected to a PC online. The Cyber-shot T2 also offers a scrapbook function to create themes and frames on photos for fun sharing.

With the PhotoTV HD feature, the Cyber-shot T2 allows high-definition photos to be viewed in more details on full HD and HD-ready televisions.

Sharing goes beyond the camera and with the new 'Sharemark' function, the Cyber-shot T2 can upload photos to blog, social networking and photo-sharing sites to reach out to friends and families overseas. With the Picture Motion Browser Portable software, one can select photos for uploading by marking the photos as 'Sharemark' and connect the Cyber-shot T2 to an online PC with a USB cable.

Sony's distinctive 'smile shutter' function makes capturing informal portraits and family snapshots effortless. The function automatically detects and captures a person smiling without the need to press the shutter. If there are several people in the frame, you can select the primary subject for the camera to watch by touching the screen. A sequence of up to six smiling shots can be taken without the need to manually press the shutter.

Combined with such technologies such as face detection, Super SteadyShot, optical image stabilization and high sensitivity (ISO 3200), the camera is equipped to capture life-like holiday memories. The Cyber-shot T2 also features an optical zoom of 3x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens to shoot crystal clear photos while capturing faraway objects.

The Cyber-shot T2 is available at all Jumbo Electronics outlets in the UAE and other select stores.
