Globitel participates in the AfricaCom Convention

The event took place at the Cape Town Convention Center in South Africa between November 21st and 22nd, 2007.

The GSM > 3G AfricaCom Convention is the premier Pan-African communications event and for an entire decade has been comprised of a high-level conference programme and separate co-located networking exhibition. This event has successfully positioned itself as the ideal platform for its participants to exchange experiences and thoughts, meet existing clients, and build new contacts.

The event aimed at building on global interests recently taken in the African ICT landscape. Its program was designed to bring together over 3,000 senior decision-makers, over 20 panel sessions in a space that allows them to stimulate industry related debates.

Participants in this event heared from over 100 leading industry speakers and they used the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds working in Africa's ICT industry. The event's program also incorporated an exhibition, pre and post-show workshops, keynote interviews, and multiple streams designed to ensure even greater depth and breadth of coverage.

This year was Globitel's first participation in AfricaCom during which the company showcased its IT business & telecommunications solutions.

It is important to note that Globitel also took part in the GITEX technology week which took place in Dubai last September, the GSM 3GNorth Africa Conference which took place in Cairo last October and in the same event for Middle East and Gulf, which took place in Dubai last September.
