With the total investment exceeding Dhs150-200bn, Business Bay brings together a unique selection of prestigious projects and is considered to be the Middle East's most sought-after business district.

Speaking to a select gathering of journalists on the occasion of the first slab casting, H. H. Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Zayed Saqer Al Nahyan, Managing Director, Reef Real Estate Investment Co. LLC said, 'Business Bay is certainly the place to be for business houses. Corp Executive Hotel & Office Tower, being built at a cost of Dhs350m, enjoys a strategic location in this bustling business hub. This spectacular property is merely 10 minutes away from the world's latest icon - the Burj Dubai (the tallest building in the world) and 5 minutes from The Dubai Mall, the region's biggest shopping centre."

Shaping up Corp Executive Hotel & Office are top architects, designers and ergonomics experts. Giving details of the development H.H. Sheikh Ahmed said, 'Corp Executive Hotel & Office is by all means a stellar property. Incorporating cutting-edge design and innovative technology, the hotel offers a new dimension in hospitality and is specially designed for business and corporate travellers. Above all it will act as a benchmark for exceptional comfort and superior service.'

Corp Executive Hotel & Office Tower features 31-storeys with 5 levels of basement parking, 66 office zones and 242 hotel rooms. Enhancing its appeal are a beautiful shopping boulevard, premium coffee shops, enticing restaurants, juice bar, well-quipped health club & business centre, gym, sauna, steam bath, retail shops, swimming pools, a gorgeous ballroom, and a lovely piano bar.

Giving a low-down of the hospitality and real estate market H.H. Sheikh Ahmed said, 'The industry has no doubt witnessed an overwhelming growth in recent years. We have seen many significant developments over the months. The opening of new hotels may cool off the market a bit but the forecast still looks very impressive. Consumer demand for hotels is expected to stay robust. All said and done we see another strong year in 2008.'

In appreciation of the tremendous hard-work and dedication shown by the construction workers and the entire team of developers at Corp Executive Hotel & Office Tower, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed hosted a special lunch on the day.
