Eros Group to launch the world's thinnest LCD TV from Hitachi in the UAE

The new range of Hitachi LCDs and complete range of Hitachi HDTVs will be available in the UAE in March 2008.

Hitachi claims that its ultra thin series is the slimmest LCD with the thickness of 35mm.The 32-inch ultra thin has 360 degree aesthetic appeal.

The UT series is designed is such a way that it allows you the capacity to be put anywhere you like. The monitor of the UT series, which is 35mm thin, is more than just a TV suitable to be hung on the wall with the ease and option of connecting with other consumer electronic equipments. The monitor and the media station can be connected via the optional wireless unit to bring even more range in placement.

The UT series will cast aside the stereotype image that a TV should be placed against or even near a wall. The back of the monitor is well proportioned so that it can be viewed from any angle. Further more, the 32-inch size comes in four colors variations- black, white, red and blue. The media station has Hitachi's unique "iV Pocket," which can record high definition broadcasting on a optional removable hard disc drive "iVDR*3-S".
