Global Village's auction of VIP passes takes off with overwhelming response

Global Village, a member of Tatweer, announced its auction of VIP passes for the 2007 edition has opened to overwhelming responses, with specific number combinations, matching vehicle license plates, phone numbers and other favourite digits attracting the highest bids.

The VIP pass offers family privileges, including access to a dedicated parking area, fun fair tokens and complimentary entry tickets to the Global Village, which will run from 13 December, 2007 - 1 March, 2008.

Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Village, said:

Residents can participate in the auction for VIP passes by placing their bid via phone on 04-3624114. Authorities will allocate numbers to the highest bidders on 2 December, 2007.

Global Village, which began as a Shopping Festival attraction, offering multicultural entertainment, has expanded several times over in the last decade. The 2006 event attracted around 4m visitors from more than 80 different countries providing an enchanting experience through a broad spectrum of activities, including music, dance, arts and handicraft, theatre and food.

In its 13th edition this year, the unique destination has lined up an unforgettable and lavish experience for visitors, including top quality facilities and spectacular entertainment shows showcasing the customs and cultures of nearly 31 countries.

Located in Dubailand on the Emirates Road, Global Village is easily accessible from all over the UAE. The destination also offers a range of top quality facilities and services including restaurants and shuttle transport services. Specially trained groups of staff cater to niche requirements of families.

Global Village

Global Village, a member of Tatweer, is Dubai's exciting and unique annual tourism destination and spectacular multicultural entertainment centre.
