The futuristic tech-savvy tower, which has caused a wave of international interest through its iconic design and smart-home interactive features, gained the title of Best International Apartment at the CNBC International Property Awards held in Las Vegas last week.
This latest awards makes it the most awarded development in the region, after gaining several others awards in the CNBC Arabian Property Awards earlier this year.
Omniyat Properties President and CEO Mehdi Amjad said he was thrilled for The Pad to receive further recognition from such a prestigious international industry event.
"The Pad will offer the ultimate lifestyle for the tech-savvy and is a shining example of Omniyat Properties' innovative approach to world-class iconic developments," Mr Amjad said. "The International Property Awards place a further world spotlight on both Omniyat Properties and the Middle East for its leading-edge approach to property development, which is capturing the world's attention and imagination."
The International Property Awards 2007 in association with CNBC are the largest of their type in the world and now in their 13th year.
This major accolade followed closely in the footsteps of several other awards for Omniyat Properties. Omniyat Properties scooped four major awards at the recent CNBC Arabian Property Awards 2007 as - Best Developer, Best Development (The Pad), Best Interior (The Pad) and Best Marketing (The Pad).
