- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, November 29 - 2007 at 10:21
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Marina has firmly established itself as a property hotspot for both investors and end users alike, according to the region's leading real estate agency Better Homes.
Manuela Reis, Head of Residential Sales at Better Homes sees lifestyle as a key driver in the area, "The concept of marina living and the prestige that goes with luxurious yachts and waterfront properties, along with the range of recreational facilities on hand, keeps demand high". Such demand makes the marina an ideal choice for investors, enabling them to achieve high rental returns, with short-term rentals occupancy rates reaching 96%."
The lifestyle image of the marina makes it extremely popular with corporate clients, professional couples and overseas buyers that visit Dubai several times a year. Furthermore, its location, which offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, while still maintaining good access to the rest of Dubai, including business communities such as Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Knowledge village and Jumeirah Lake Towers adds to the appeal.
Marina addresses are prestigious not only in Dubai, but around the world and because of this, properties located in such areas generally make good investments because they retain their value, offer good rental returns and are attractive to buyers.
Dubai Marina is a rapidly developing residential area comprising of luxury apartments and a range of shops, restaurants, golf courses and five star hotels within easy reach. Part of the development will see the addition of a new yacht club, further hotels as well as two large scale retail projects with, namely Marina Mall and Marina Boulevard, with the latter offering 2 storeys of high end retail outlets set to rival Rodeo Drive in Beverley Hills.
In summary Reis commented, "You only need to take a walk along the marina promenade to see why people love living there, it's a wonderful community environment that has something to offer everyone." "There is so much going on at the moment, it will get better and better."
