Jordanian becomes the Arab League Focus Group Chairman

One of the most active bodies of the Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers through an unanimous decision made by representatives of 17 Arab countries attended the Arab league recent meeting in Cairo.

This group is considered as one of the most active groups that handle all new services and tariffs matters including prices' studies, and setting call termination charges policies between Arab countries, besides proposing all necessary mechanism required to put this policy into effect in order to be in line with market trends which will reflect positively on ordinary Arab citizens.

Mr. Rashdan was selected to this post due to his wide experience as an international expert in addition to his contributions in other international forums, where he is considered as one of the most important telecommunications experts in the Arab region.

In addition to his position as Director of International Carriers Sales and Services at JTG, Mr. Al Rashdan is also the Vice Chairman of (TAS) group which stands for: Telecom of Asia and Oceania Group, the body of the international telecommunications Union, where he was able to contribute positively in reducing the burden of high call termination charges and maintaining at the same time the good relations with these countries in general and the Arabic countries in particular, which led to increase the company 's profit.
