In addition to several important and high profile personalities from Abu Dhabi who attended including representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Commerce as well as members of the Turkish Parliament, the Turkish delegate included the Turkish Councilor.
The Turkish delegation was visiting the UAE for the 11th International Business Forum (IBI), an event designed to develop and solidify ties between the United Arab Emirates and members of the IBF.
'With the nation's capital being the venue for the event in addition to Tameer's latest UAE Mega-Project, the 'Tameer Towers', we feel it is appropriate - as well feeling highly privileged - for being able to host such a respected group of individuals at this event.' said Omar Ayesh, President of Tameer Holding. The hosting of the dinner comes after Tameer Holding announced at Cityscape Dubai 2007 its active interest in pursuing investment opportunities within other Middle Eastern nations such as Syria, KSA and Turkey where the company is currently is going through extensive plans for purchasing plots of land to be developed later.
Regionally, Tameer's North African project comes with a price tag of 26 billion Libyan dinars ($20bn) and is located in the Eastern Valley that borders the Libyan Capital, Tripoli, on an area that exceeds 40 kilo meter square, and is city sized including residential and commercial towers, business centers, and tourism facilities that comprise of various services such as schools, universities, hospitals, gardens etc.
Meanwhile its Jordanian mega-project that recently saw His Highness Prince Faisal Ibn Al Hussein laid the foundation stone is being developed in conjunction with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC). The Madinat Majd project will feature 18500 residential units on an area of 2 million sqm and accommodate 50,000 inhabitants and its unique location on the main highway leading to Zarqa City and is 25km away from the capital Amman.
