Royal & SunAlliance appoints the management team for construction and engineering Asia and Middle East

Recognizing the potential of booming property development and construction market in Asia & Middle East for the construction and engineering (C&E) insurance, Royal & SunAlliance has begun an expansion of their insurance capabilities for Asia and Middle East.
HaoMing ZHOU, Head of C&E Asia & Middle East (based in Hong Kong)
Ringo Ho, Leader of C&E, North Asia (based in Shanghai)
Doreen Lim, Leader of C&E, South Asia (based in Singapore)
Andrew Smith, Leader of C&E Middle East (based in Bahrain)
Bernard Dunraven, Chief Underwriter C&E, Asia & Middle East (based in Dubai)
Russell Dickerson, Risk Management Solutions Asia & Middle East (based in Dubai)
John Lewis, Claims Management, Asia & Middle East (based in Dubai)
HaoMing Zhou, Ringo Ho and Andrew Smith are the three most recent recruitments to the team.
HaoMing brings 23 years of working experience in professional engineering as well as construction and engineering underwriting practice. He has a good track record of being able to develop a professional underwriting team and maintain a profitable portfolio. HaoMing joined RSA earlier this year from SwissRe, where he was Head of Construction Development Asia Pacific.
Ringo started his insurance career in 1981 and has spent more than 20 years in construction and engineering underwriting. Ringo recently joined R&SA from Allianz Re, where he was the Regional Manager for Construction and Engineering Facultative, Asia and Pacific. Prior to Allianz Re, he spent 16 years in Swiss Re on various engineering related senior positions.
Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience in Construction & Engineering having worked in the UK with the Sedgwick Group, in Singapore and Thailand with Aon and with Alexander Forbes Wattana Co Ltd in Thailand. Andrew's most recent appointment was as Regional Director, Construction & Infrastructure Asia with Aon, based in Hong Kong. With the appointment of Andrew Smith on December 1, the R&SA management team for C&E in the Asia & Middle East region is now complete.
