The Middle East market is booming in all sectors from real estate to hospitality to oil and gas to FMCG and so on. This dynamic environment is creating increased competitive pressures and imposing new priorities on companies and their CFOs to be more strategic and innovative in their approach.

The role of CFOs has dramatically changed in the last few years. Considered as a glorified accountant only focused on the firm's financial statements and capital structure, the CFO is now seen as a business partner with the CEO. As an active, innovative, and independent transformation agent, the CFO interacts with every department of a company.

naseba created a strategic business platform, by invitation only, called the CFO Strategies Middle East, which focuses on the emerging role of the CFO in the booming Middle East market.

"CFO Strategies Middle East is a part of our CXO series of events. After 5 years of unprecedented success of CFO Europe, naseba is proud to present CFO Strategies Middle East, a focused forum, exclusively dedicated to the CFOs in the Middle East Region. It takes a comprehensive look at funding in the period of the growth, people management strategies, risk management, accountability transparency, cross border expansion and other cost effective strategies used by the CFOs to meet the challenges in the booming Middle East market," explained Prachi Dawar, the event producer.

Working in strategic partnership with Time Magazine, CNBC Arabiya, Middle East Monitor, Capital, Business Islamica, Business Intelligence Middle East and AME Info, this unique platform enables participants to discuss and interact with their peers while obtaining real business solutions that help their corporations become more efficient and competitive. The participants have the opportunity to develop meaningful business relationships with leading industry experts while attending functions in some of the most luxurious venues in Dubai.

Educational presentations and interactive panel discussions will be led by industry-renowned experts, such as: Jim Frederick, Senior Editor, TIME (moderator); Sanjay Uppal, Group CFO, Emirates NBD; Oussama El Rifai, VP, Finance, Etisalat; Surinder Sarna, Group CFO, AlShaya Group; Dilip Kumar, FVP, Arab Banking Corporation; Andy Raheja, CFO, Al Barari; Ghassan Hasbani, Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton; P K Dutta, CFO, Damas; Deepak Srivasatava, CFO, Oman LNG; and Srinivasan Arun, Senior VP, Finance, Dubai Group

Those experts will discuss and debate on controversial topics and the latest issues in the industry, namely: the strategic role of the CFO in the growing Middle East market, Corporate Governance, "Real Asset" Management, funding in the period of growth, performance management, cross boarder expansion and the emerging paradigm of risk management.

Throughout the two days, participants will also attend workshops focusing on practical case studies as well as one-to-one business meetings with leading solution providers, such as Standard & Poors, Moody's Middle East Limited and Atradius. These meetings enhance deal making opportunities and give a chance to delegates to find customized solutions for their companies.
