  • PRESS RELEASE

The QS World MBA Tour which visits Dubai on 7th December, is again bringing future MBA students what they want - the opportunity to meet face-to-face with 80 business school decision-makers from around the world.

The Tour is a series of international MBA recruitment fairs for the world's leading business schools that travels to over thirty-five countries every year.

Over 98% of prospective MBA and students surveyed rated the QS World MBA Tour either 'useful' or 'very useful', according to the 2007 QS Applicant Survey, and 'meeting admission officers and alumni' was rated the second most important school selection criteria, ahead of 'researching the school web site', 'rankings' and 'school brochures'.

The fairs, which have been touring Dubai since 2003, are the primary recruitment tool for the world's leading business schools such as Wharton, Columbia, INSEAD, St. Andrews, Imperial-Tanaka, Hult, UC Berkeley and G. Washington.

Competition for places at top business schools and universities is escalating. Paul Danos, Dean of Tuck, observes: "Today, applications are up for over two-thirds of all business schools and the demand for graduating MBAs is through the roof."

To gain an edge, MBA hopefuls need to make an impression on admissions officers and the QS World MBA Tour represent the most convenient step in the application process - the opportunity to ask intelligent, tailored questions on topics like personal fit, career opportunities, school specializations and financial aid, and to make an impression - face-to-face.

With business schools from countries as diverse as Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Canada, UK and the USA, attending the fairs is an essential part of the application process for those intending to study abroad.
