Mr. Harinder Takhar was elected to the Ontario legislature in 2003 and re-elected in 2007. He has served as Ontario's Minister of Small Business and Entrepreneurship since 2006. He previously served as Minister of Transportation. Earlier, Mr. Takhar has held leadership positions with several Canadian companies. A tireless volunteer and community supporter, Mr. Takhar holds a master's degree in economics and political science. Mr. Takhar has lived in Mississauga, Ontario for more than 30 years.
