Le Royal Méridien's Maya restaurant is set in the gardens at the five-star resort and features floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the waters of the Gulf. The walls are adorned with Mexican art to complete the scene. Its most stunning feature is the rooftop bar which has quickly established itself as the place to experience the best sunset in Dubai.

This rooftop bar will be the setting for the one year anniversary party. Its exclusive lounge setting is the perfect place to enjoy pre or post aperitifs, against the beautiful backdrop of the Gulf coastline. With an impressive array of signature cocktails, accompanied by live Mexican music from Latino Connection, as well as smooth grooves from resident DJ Cliff, what better way unwind and relax at the week end or after a hard day at work.

Commenting on the restaurant, Pam Wilby, general manager of Le Royal Méridien said:

"A year ago we set out to challenge Dubai's taste buds once again with a new concept in Mexican dining. With the help of Chef Sandoval's innovating cuisine, we have succeeded in changing the way people think about Mexican food and Maya has been thriving ever since day one."

Sandoval and his team specialise in authentic Mexican food and use a contemporary interpretation in the presentation and ingredients. The beverage selection also benefits from Mexican influences with a Maya twist.

Set along the landscaped beachfront at Le Royal Méridien, Maya was created as part of a now completed $7m development project at the property which is part of an ongoing programme to meet and exceed guest expectations.
