During the visit, members of the UAE delegation which is being led by Brigadier Matar Al Nayadi, Chairman of the ISNR Abu Dhabi Organizing Committee, will highlight the growing potential of the Middle East's homeland security market to participants at ISNR London. The London edition of ISNR (International Security & National Resilience) is being held 3-5 December 2007 at the National Hall, Olympia, with more than 100 exhibitors taking part.
ISNR London is the first leg in the ISNR series of events and will be followed by ISNR Abu Dhabi to be held 2-5 March 2008, under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. ISNR Abu Dhabi will be organized by Reed Exhibitions at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre. It will be the Middle East's first event focused exclusively on homeland security and is being held in association with the UAE Ministry of Interior.
The visit to ISNR London will provide members of the UAE delegation with the opportunity to meet and network with policy makers and prospective ISNR Abu Dhabi exhibitors and brief them on the latest trends and opportunities in the Middle East's security market. The security market in the Middle East region is entering a sustained growth phase with an increasing need being felt for sophisticated equipment to counter international terrorism, protect national borders and build disaster resilience.
Over the last few months, the ISNR Abu Dhabi team has undertaken an extensive international promotion campaign to highlight the Middle East's homeland security market potential. The team has taken part in several global industry events including Milipol - Paris, DSEi - London, the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, IDEF-Turkey (International Defence Industry Fair), the Global Security Exhibition in Singapore, IFSEC-India, Security & Defence - Bangkok, the CSPE Exhibition in Shenzen, China and the Dubai Air Show.
