Rusiya Al-Yaum provides in-depth coverage of the Dubai Air Show 2007

Rusiya Al-Yaum, the Russian informational and news channel in Arabic, made a grand splash at the recent Dubai Air Show 2007, with in-depth coverage about the premier aviation event and presentation about its programs to the show's visitors.

Visitors to the air show could gain a closer understanding about the Russian channel and know about its new programs besides watching exclusive documentaries about civil and military aviation in Russia, Russian space technologies and leading aircraft designers. The channel is set to these documentaries in its 2007-2008 season.

'Rusiya Al-Yaum' participated in the show to further highlight the channel's ad-campaign launched in the early September 2007.

'We are keen to position ourselves in events and activities that interest our viewers. Airshow news is going to be highlighted in the channel's exclusive materials.'

'Rusiya Al-Yaum' is a Russian info-news channel in Arabic operating as part of 'TV-Novosti' autonomous non-commercial organization. The channel was launched on May 4, 2007.

The distinctive feature of 'Rusiya Al-Yaum' is a creation of broad awareness on the Russia's position on international issues and Russian society's opinion on the event taking place both in Russia and abroad.

Paying special attention to news information, the channel presents various programs and documentaries, which introduce socio-political, socioeconomic and cultural aspects of today's Russia. Special attention is given to the brightest pages of Russian-Arab relations' history.

Rusiya Al-Yaum broadcasts 20 hours a day, seven times a week. Broadcast is performed from Moscow via «BADR 4», «NILESAT 103» and «HOT BIRD 6» satellites system. The channel is available online on Internet.
