This year's event, which is being held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and organised by International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), is staged concurrently with the 3rd Arab Instrumentation and Automation (AIA) exhibition, which targets instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory buyers and suppliers. The AIA will highlight standards of excellence in instrumentation, control and automation technologies related to the energy, engineering, construction, manufacturing and communications industries.

OGS 2007 has been expanded to showcase comprehensive solutions for the exploration, extraction, refinement and transportation of hydrocarbon reserves, in addition to a targeted focus on the oil, gas, pipelines and petrochemicals industry segments. The event will also incorporate a range of seminars and technical workshops designed to educate buyers of emerging technological trends and provide a comprehensive overview of new, innovative products and services.

The OGS 2007 will play an important role in helping determine new prospects and solutions to various challenges, as it is our ultimate goal to open new channels for growth and promote the sustainable development of the industry," concluded Godinho.
