Marking the start of the fourth successive year of the Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX), His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, Kingdom of Bahrain, today formally opened BIPEX 2007.

Organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), BIPEX 2007 is being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre and will be open for three days, the last day being Friday, 30 November 2007.

The high-profile formal opening of BIPEX 2007, which is Bahrain's largest property exhibition, was also attended by various senior dignitaries, VVIPs, government officials, organizers, sponsors, exhibitors, investors and media.

Commenting on the opening, Mr. Mohamed Khalil Alsayed, President, BSE, said: 'First of all on behalf of the organizing committee and the Board, I would like to express my gratitude to H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for his continuous support and encouragement which has made it possible for us to host BIPEX 2007 successfully for the fourth consecutive year. The opening of BIPEX 2007 signifies a major milestone not only for Bahrain's real estate sector but also for the entire GCC region. On the basis of the response received so far, we can confidently say that BIPEX 2007 will emerge as one of the largest property exhibitions in the GCC in the near future.'

Spread over a total area of 6,000 sq. mt., BIPEX 2006 is being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from Wednesday, 28 November till Friday, 30 November 2007. It is supported by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry and sponsored by major property developers such as Ithmaar Development Bank, Al Argan Bahrain, Riffa Views, Al Areen, TABREED Bahrain, BAZ Real Estates, Marina West, TAIBA, Gulf Holding Company, Top Real Estate, Abraj Al Lulu & Batelco.

It will be open from 10 am to 9 pm. Admission is free for trade visitors invited guests and the general public.
